Website Update
I
was able to get the video up and running on the main page
here, obviously :) Please take 12 min to watch it if you
haven't already. The high school students did an amazing
job on this informational video for the district, we thank
all the students and Mr. Hamilton for their hard work
and for allowing us to post it on the CCQE website. If
you are planning to support the bond, please stop at the
support/endorse page on this website and sign the endorsement
petition.

Website Update
I
am working on getting a larger and easier to watch version
of the school bond informational video up here on the
main page of this website. I should have it up and running
by Friday evening (4-25). In the meantime, you can view
the video on your local city and school run cable stations
or you can click on this link.

Website Update
The
News Herald posted a very well written article, endorsing
the school bond, on Wednesday April 16th, 2008. I have
posted the link above for anyone who did not get to see
it in the paper.

Website Update
I
have posted the power point presentation on the 2008 school
bond proposal on the main page of this website (above)
and on the photos page of this website. This is the presentation
that is given at the community forums. Please try to make
it to one of the community forums (dates and times posted
in the calendar on the volunteer page of this website).
While the presentation you can view here is the same,
attending one of these forums will offer a lot more detail
and explanation as to what your seeing in the photographs
during the presentation and will also allow you the ability
to ask questions and get immediate answers.

Wrong TaxCalc Link!
If
you have used the tax calculator on this website in the
last week or two, please go put your information again,
to double check the answer you get. At some point when
I updated the website... the link for the new 2008 tax
calculator was replaced with the link for the old tax
calculator. The millage rate in 2006 was higher, so if
you used it from this website recently your tax increase
would have come back higher than it should be. I have
corrected the link in the main file to ensure this does
not happen again. I also want to say that only
the link on this website was wrong. The
taxcalc link on the district website has always been the
right one.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
We can ALWAYS use more volunteers to help with anything
we're doing over the next 5 weeks. We have a few events
coming up in the next two/three weeks that we could use
a lot of hands to help with. We had a TON of help and
support with the 2006 school bond and I am hoping most
of you will find a way you would like to help this time
around. If you would like to find out what is available
just email or call any of the contact information, anywhere
on this website. You can also post in the forum.

Website Updates
I have updated the volunteer page but there is still
more to add. Keep checking back as I will be adding updates
throughout the site regularly.
3/30/08 Website Updates
I restarted the endorsement form on the "support/endorse"
page of the website. If you would like to endorse the
bond you can use this form to add your name to a list
and then verify the signature by email.

Grand "Re"opening
We're back!
Hello everyone and welcome! We are proud to present to
you one of your most informative sources for the 2008
Trenton school bond.
We are working hard to bring you the most updated and
accurate information to assist you in voting this May.
"We" are the Citizens Committee for Quality
Education or the CCQE and we are made up of your fellow
community members. We are parents, business owners, senior
citizens, high school students, teachers, principals,
city council members, and proud residents of this wonderful
city.
The site is still being updated so we will have more to
come, but what you see here today is a great start. We
have also set up a community forum where you can chat
back and forth in real time with your friends and neighbors
and discuss any concerns you might have about the school
bond. You can ask those important questions and get quick,
reliable answers. We hope you find everything you need
to know on this website, our goal is to have NO questions
left unanswered by the time the election rolls around.
You can contact any one of us at any of the email addresses
or phone numbers you find throughout the site if you would
like to help out. We are a dedicated group of people but
we could ALWAYS use more heads and hands so we hope you
decide to join us in our effort to rebuild part of Trenton's
pride.
Vote YES May 6th for our kids, our community, our future!
